Laurent first came to Scotland from France in 1990. Since then, he has built considerable experience, teaching a wide range of client groups both in Scotland, France and further afield. His long term association with cancer care patients at Maggies Edinburgh and involvement with Stroke survivors in particular have nourished his interest in utilising taiji and qigong to support individuals through significant lifechange. Alongside his teaching experience, Laurent has professional qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc, MCSP) and Sport Massage.

On a personal level, Laurent is committed to developing his practice and putting his experience to the service of individuals or groups interested in uncovering one's potential vitality. Taiji is one of the disicplines he has encountered that offers a valid framework for such ongoing self exploration. In his practice, Laurent yearns for an intelligent integration of the complementary knowledge of the Eastern and the Western traditions to health and well being.
